Dear KFG Clients,
I believe most of you know that I have been transitioning from a pure financial planning role to that of financial therapist. I completed a counseling degree in 2018 and have been working in a triple position of financial planner, financial therapist, and mental health counselor ever since. While my emphasis remained on financial planning and KFG for quite some time, this past summer I opened a counseling private practice and began a transition toward mental health counseling. During that transition I started working fewer hours at KFG as my counseling work increased. Due to the unexpected demand for counseling (likely due to the pandemic), my counseling hours have been increasing faster than any of us at KFG anticipated, myself included.
Now I am in a position where my time at KFG is limited. Be assured that I remain available to help the rest of the KFG planning team as they continue learning about your financial situation and all of the things we were working on together. However I may not be in your next meeting with KFG. Ideally I would love to have a chance to meet with each of you, either in person or virtually. While that may not be feasible, I do hope we can connect by phone or email.
I have enjoyed working with all of you. It has been an honor to get to know you and your financial lives, and I appreciate the trust and confidence you have placed in me as a part of the team at KFG. I will miss being in the financial planning role with you, and I know you are absolutely in wonderful hands with the other KFG planning team members, Nathan and Christina.
As I write this, I am aware of how hard it is to work in the words “good bye.” KFG has been my working world since 2012. Working at KFG has changed me in ways I never imagined. Thank you for being a part of my journey and for allowing me to be a part of yours.
From the KFG staff, we say an enormous thank you to Sarah for the past nine years she has serviced our clients. We are currently planning an open house at the beginning of June where we will gather together to say goodbye to Sarah and welcome to Christina. Watch your inbox for more information regarding this event coming soon.
