Aspect Global Becomes Seneca and Adds Managers

Effective May 1, 2011, Steben and Company, Inc. has changed the name of the Aspect Global Diversified Fund to the “Seneca Global Fund”. The reason for the change is that Steben is adding two additional managers to the fund.

The Fund will no longer allocate its assets to a single trading advisor.  In the past the only manager was Aspect Capital Limited.  Now, the Fund will allocate its assets among its current trading advisor, Aspect Capital Limited (“Aspect”),as well as two additional trading advisors, Estlander & Partners Ltd (“EP”) and Blackwater, LLC (“Blackwater,” and together with Aspect and EP, the “Trading Advisors”). It is anticipated that the Fund will initially delegate trading discretion over one third of the Fund’s assets to eachof the Trading Advisors, however, such allocations may be altered at any time in the sole discretion of the General Partner.

I support the diversification of the fund and am pleased with the new managerial additions.  For more information on the new managers you can click here.  If you have any further questions, please drop me an email.
