When You’re Single, You Pay More

Being single means you have complete control of the television remote, but you’re also the only one there to take out the trash. Oh, and being single costs you money. The financial disadvantages of life on your own are discussed by Sheryl Nance-Nash in her September 13 article for The Fiscal Times titled, “Broke and Single: Why It Pays to Be Married.”
