Robb Schmidt grew up in DeSmet, South Dakota, and graduated from DeSmet High School in 1987. He then graduated from Augustana College in Sioux Falls, South Dakota with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Business Administration. After employment with CitiBank in Sioux Falls, Robb attended the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service, receiving an Associated of Applied Science in Funeral Service Degree in 1993. He was been employed at the Osheim-Catron Funeral Home from 1995 until February of 2008, when he and his wife, Barbara, purchased the funeral home, now Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home. Robb is a member of the National Funeral Directors Association and a Past-President of the South Dakota Funeral Directors Association (2004), South Canyon Lutheran Church and Rapid City Elks Lodge #1187 and Arrowhead Country Club.

Kirk Dennis grew in rural Philip, South Dakota, and graduated from Philip High School in 1987.  He attended Black Hills State University in 2002 will a Business Administration and Wellness Management degree.  He was employed by American Memorial/Assurant Life Insurance Company in Rapid City as a Field Manager of Assurant’s general agents specializing in funeral pre-planning and pre-funding from 1998 to 2006.  Kirk now has an independent agency comprised of funeral homes and agents who use National Guardian Life products to fund pre-arranged funerals.  He recruits, trains and assists in marketing to help funeral homes and agents in several states grow their preneed business.
